Jake's Roofing Lifetime Workmanship (Labor) Warranty
Jake's Roofing guarantees the workmanship of our installation for
the stated lifetime of the product installed to the registered
residential homeowner or commercial property owner.
This warranty is in addition to the manufacturer's warranty. The
duration of the product warranty is determined by the manufacturer
and will be provided by Jake's Roofing to the property owner.
Residential: Jake's Roofing will provide the labor to correct any
problems due to workmanship, without charge, for the lifetime of the
product as stated by the manufacturer.
Commercial: Jake's Roofing will provide the labor to correct any
problems due to workmanship, without charge, for a period of 15
years from the date of installation.
This warranty is transferable, one time only, with written notification
to Jake's roofing within 30 days of ownership transfer and is valid for
five years from the date of transfer.
This warranty does not apply to products that have been damaged
by normal weathering, abuse, misuse, unauthorized modification,
neglect, improper maintenance as outlined in the manufacturer's
specifications (available from the manufacturer), or acts of nature
including but not limited to fire, earthquakes, flood or any
catastrophic occurrence beyond the control of Jake's Roofing.
Some limitations apply.
1. For work where no warranty is stated.
2. Repair work to a roof not installed by Jake's roofing.
Jake's Roofing will have no liability under the warranty for any
damage caused by Mother Nature or third parties:
1. An Act of Mother Nature such as force winds, hail, lightning, ice
damming and any other damage caused by something falling on and
damaging the roof.
2. Any other services or persons accessing the roof to install or
repair products such as chimney repair, aerials, air conditioning units
and any other thing to cause damage to shingles or roof deck.
3. Jake's Roofing will not warrant our workmanship on any job where
the invoice is not paid in full.
While Jake's Roofing is committed to using quality products, we
cannot be responsible for material defects that are covered under
the Manufacturers' Warranty.
Whenever possible, Jake's Roofing will replace damaged shingles
with shingles of the same color and manufacturer. However, because
variations exists between shingles manufactured in different lots and
manufacturers change colors and designs, Jake's Roofing reserves
the right to repair the shingles with shingles of the nearest color and
design of same or better quality.
