Jake's Story

After my release from the Cincinnati animal shelter I knew I
would need to find a job - and fast. I had watched Dogs With
Jobs while I was in the slammer. I asked myself, “Jake, what
would you like to do? What are your skills?”

I liked to smell things. I can find things no one else can. And, I
love people.

My job search began. My interview skills were, well, non-
existent. I was discouraged.

The next day, a very nice man saw me and said he wanted to
help me. He asked me what I could do. I said, “Rwoof!” It was
the only word I knew.

Lucky for me, I spoke his language. He was in the roofing
business. He put me to work inspecting for leaks. Spots are
my specialty. I find them - and his crew fixes them. They liked
me so much they named their company after me.
