shingles.
It had been too many years since the last roofing was
installed on the Salem United Church of Christ on
Sycamore Street in Cincinnati.

The old organic shingles were beginning to curl.
Most roofing jobs can be completed in one day, but this job
was massive. After twelve days the entire roof was covered in
new Owens Corning Estate Gray shingles. 20,000 extra nails
were used to ensure the new roofing would remain stable.
The new roofing should last for another 30 years. That was
good news for the Church Board.
